The Show

Motown Legends offers so many different packages featuring THE CONTOURS that it would be impossible to describe them all here. The show presented is always determined by the promoter's needs, with the target audience, venue, number of sets, number of other act performing, etc. factoring into the final product. Furthermore, THE CONTOURS have such a large song repertoire and so much genre diversity that there is never a "typical" show - every show is a new experience for your audience! The above notwithstanding, we present a "typical" Motown Legends' show below.

T.F.O.
T.F.O., under the direction of Ronnie Nelson, plays a 15 minute set which includes a number of classic Motown tunes.

Joe Billingslea and THE CONTOURS
Joe Billingslea and THE CONTOURS perform a set approximately 60 minutes long.
The song list will vary from show to show, the most popular ones are listed below:

After The Show
Joe Billingslea and THE CONTOURS participate in a meet-and-greet with audience members after each show where it is permitted by the promoter and the venue. They will sign autographs and pose for photos with fans. CDs, photographs and other memorabilia can be made available.

Other Possibilities
We can always adapt the show consistent with the client's needs and budget. Here are some examples from shows that took place over the past several years:

  • A 15-minute, 3-song set as part of a Doo Wop, Oldies or Motown show with many acts,
  • A 30-35 minute, 6- or 7-song show as part of a Doo Wop, Oldies or Motown show with several other acts,
  • A 45 minute set as part of a Doo Wop, Oldies or Motown show with a few other acts,
  • A 75 minute set as the headliner, featuring opening acts of T.F.O. and/or The Ladiez.
